Hello there,
It’s been more than a month that I’ve been living in Cornish
lands. What a stunning region, I think I am falling in love. Remember that post
about Lake District? Well, it’s the same. UK never sounded that exciting to me
but as a nature lover I must admit this country is beauuuuuuutiful!
It does feel strange to be living on my own but I quickly
got used to it and I use it for personal journeys and discoveries.
So where do I begin. I am happy and well. I call this place a soul retreat. My free
healing sessions include yoga and running, swimming and dancing with waves,
reading, drawing and writing, occasional slacklining to make sure I keep a
balance on the line and in life in general, numerous walks surrounded by green
hills and valleys and of course just simply breathing that delicious sea air.
What a life!
I love when the sun creeps in and the whole area turns into
happy smiles and admiration of incredibly dramatic coastline that sits right in
front of me. I also love the rain washing all the dust and turning everything
into lush greenery. I love the wind which gives my joy of dancing with waves
and I love it when it’s stormy so I can sit inside curled up with books and
cakes and watch the trees go crazy.
It’s funny how living remote you connect with this strange
feeling inside, as being part of some ancient vibration, when people walked
everywhere, where to get your food was a days journey and you are doing that
same journey hundred years later. Maybe it was meant to be not getting that
driving licence so I don’t turn into a girl driving around everywhere.
And then there is this big thing about animals. They are
everywhere! In fact, I see more cattle than people, ha! They stare at you with
those big sad eyes and then they chase you, in a good way, only out of
curiosity they want to be your friend but their size and big horns really
freaks you out so all you have left is sort of quietly escape the field.
The days go by and I see wild seals playing with waves or
catching fishes not bothered with some us admiring their fat bodies and clumsy
movements. 2 baby deers got so close to me one day that I could nearly touch
them and then the possible dolphins splashing in the sea so far that it makes
you wonder whether they are dolphins or just some kind of big rocks moving in
the horizon. It’s great here, really.
The work is easy and gives me plenty of free time and people
that I work with are real sweeties, positivity and good energy in the air.
Sometimes I wish to share this beauty with some of you but I
know I live in the end of the world and only adventurous could reach me. Still,
the doors are open. Literally.
Till the next one,
